Deceiver In Chief

American Spectator

Deceiver in Chief

If he loved his country he wouldn’t be wanting to “fundamentally transform” it.

Barack Obama’s most dangerous talent is his ability to make people believe he’s something he’s not. He is not recognized for whom and what he is, especially the fact that he does not like the country he’s governing. He is effective because he has successfully hidden his true objectives. He has convinced his followers that he has their interests at heart, that he cares about them and wants to help them. The key ingredient in his power lies in his ability to deceive. People do not want to believe that he does not like the country. Our country is in collective state of denial.

Barack Obama is arrogant, intolerant, mean, dishonest, vengeful, and ruthless. He does not wish us well. He is considered by many of his supporters to be a savior. In fact, he’s a destroyer. Is that an unfair indictment? Consider the evidence.

The economy is operating far below its potential. Is he doing anything to discover why? Millions of people are unable to find jobs. Does he seem concerned? He has an abysmal ignorance of how a market economy actually works. He doesn’t show the slightest curiosity about the causes of our economic distress.

He doesn’t know what he’s doing and he doesn’t care that he doesn’t know. He’s so incredibility arrogant, he doesn’t think he even needs to know. The very fact that he thought he was qualified to fill the most important office in the world demonstrates his profound arrogance.

Obama sees no difference between his opinions and the truth. He assumes whatever he says is true simply by the act of saying it. He claims to have proposed $3.9 trillion in budget cuts but no one can explain what he’s referring to. He doesn’t seem to recognize that there is such a thing as the truth.

The reason he has to use a teleprompter is to keep himself from expressing what he really thinks. Honesty or sincerity would lead to his undoing.

Obama despises his political opponents. He shows no interest in compromise or negotiation and is not interested in debating or persuading. He wishes the Republican Party did not exist. He resents constitutional checks and balances. When he said recently, “I am not a dictator,” he was in fact whining. He wishes he were a dictator or emperor.

Whenever he faces a choice between his interests and the country’s interests, he always chooses his own. He is indifferent to the country’s pain. In fact, he seems to relish seeing it happen. He wants the sequester to cause as much pain as possible. He wants to maximize, not minimize, the country’s pain.

We have a president who has a profound conflict of interest with the country he’s leading. Economic growth is by far the most effective solution to many of our problems. But economic growth reduces the need for a large number of government programs — food stamps, housing subsidies, and unemployment compensation, for example. He wants to pile on ever more growth-killing regulations and taxes. Economic growth is detrimental to his policy objectives. He only wants to redistribute wealth, not create it.

He has stated that his desire is to “fundamentally transform” America. Obviously he does not approve of what America is and has been in the past. If you love your wife you do not want to “fundamentally transform” her. If you do want to, then you don’t love her. In his opinion, the birth of our country wasn’t a blessing, it was a kind of original sin. The Obama White House is comprised of people who see America in the same way.

He does not like our history, our traditions, and a large segment of the population — Republicans, gun owners, “millionaires and billionaires,” for example. He told his supporters in the 2012 election that “voting is the best revenge.” He has pitted citizen against citizen.

Can it be denied that he has fomented class warfare? Is class warfare a good thing? Why has he done this? He has done so in order to serve his own selfish ends. Class warfare is good for Obama and his Democrat allies, but it’s bad for the country. His all-consuming policy objective is to expand the size and scope of government in everyone’s lives. The corollary is the diminishment of the individual.

He has indicted entire groups of people (millionaires and billionaires, for example), virtually all of whom are honest, law-abiding, productive members of society — no trial, no evidence, just a verdict. They are found guilty simply because they have wealth. Financial success used to be admired, now it is ridiculed and demeaned. His heart is filled with malice, not generosity or gratitude. He is fomenting hatred and envy. Most people want to believe that he is basically a nice person. He is not.

Republican senators and congressmen either do not see the real Obama or they do but don’t want to go public with their beliefs. They need strategies based on who he is, not who he ought to be.

America has made a grievous error in electing and then reelecting a leader who hates the country he’s leading. Everyone who loves the U.S. — its history, traditions, and a free-market, voluntary exchange economy — is profoundly disheartened by what’s going on before their eyes.

Barack Obama is doing profound and long-lasting damage to the United States. He will continue to do so until people finally recognize who the real Obama is.

Definition of Insanity

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured...but not everyone must prove they are a citizen.

And now, any of those who are unable to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens.

Welcome to ObamaCare!

ObamaCare Creating Doctor Shortage

Overregulation is detrimental to our health!

In one of our nation’s most comprehensive surveys of physicians, the Physicians Foundation recently reported…

“American patients are likely to experience significant and increasing challenges in accessing care if current physician practice patterns trends continue. Physicians are working fewer hours, seeing fewer patients and limiting access to their practices in light of significant changes to the medical practice environment. The research estimates that if these patterns continue, 44,250 full-time-equivalent (FTE) physicians will be lost from the workforce in the next four years.

The survey also found that over the next one to three years, more than 50 percent of physicians will cut back on patients seen, work part-time, switch to concierge medicine, retire, or take other steps likely to reduce patient access.

In addition, should 100,000 physicians transition from practice-owner to employed status over the next four years (such as working in a hospital setting), the survey indicates that this will lead to 91 million fewer patient encounters.”

ObamaCare is a hazard to seniors – and a growing plague to most Americans

In another report, the Doctor Patient Medical Association reported that since the passage of ObamaCare….
  • Forty-nine percent say they'll stop accepting Medicaid patients.
  • Seventy-four percent warn they will stop taking Medicare patients or leave Medicare completely.
  • Eighty-three percent of America’s physicians have considered leaving their practices.
  • Sixty-five percent say government regulations are most to blame for rising healthcare costs.
  • Seventy-two percent say ObamaCare won't result in improved access to care.
An expected shortage of 160,000 doctors is predicted by 2025, which will potentially open the door for foreign-trained, less skilled physicians to be enticed to practice here.

Remember this promise by President Obama in 2009?
“No matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period.

Mr. President you deceived us.......

What the Loss of Freedom Looks Like

The original Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act railroaded into law by Congress was 2,700 pages long.  As of today, it’s reported that 20,000 pages of additional regulations have been added!

Written by a Marine Vet

The American Dream ended (on November 6th) in Ohio. The second term of Barack Obama will be the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest Republic in the history of mankind.

A coalition of Blacks, Latinos, Feminists, Gays, Government Workers, Union Members,  Environmental Extremists, The Media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other "fellow travelers" have ended Norman Rockwell's America.

The Cocker Spaniel is off the front porch...the Pit Bull is in the back yard.

The American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" and Chicago shyster, David Axelrod, along with international Socialist George Soros will be pulling the strings on their beige puppet to bring us Act 2 of the New World Order.

Our side ran two candidates who couldn't even win their own home states, and the circus fatty Chris Christie helped Obama over the top with a glowing "post Sandy" tribute that elevated the "Commander-in-Chief" to Mother Teresa status.

People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will never again comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.

You will never again out vote these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take Zealots, not moderates--not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.

Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to "white guilt" and political correctness...

I'm done.

How to Weaken an Economy

“From Plato to Marx to Tocqueville, philosophical minds, for both good and bad reasons, have always appreciated that human nature is attracted to the idea of enforced equality, to such a degree that most would rather be poor and the same, than better off with some far better off.”  - Victor Davis Hanson

This is a brilliant dissembling by Victor Davis Hanson of the flawed redistributionist strategy of Obama & Co.

And to think that America had enough voters to buy into this crap. The dangerous people in any country are not its leaders. It is the people who elect – and reelect – them.

Wow…we are SO done.

Obama's Undeniable Marxist Ties

Here’s more undeniable proof of Obama’s Marxism…

How can we have hope for America when a man with these credentials can be reelected?

Man Campaigning to Ban Assault Rifles Caught Buying Assault Rifle

March 9, 2013

By Daniel Greenfield

AR15? What AR15?
Mark Kelly may not yet be a household name, but he’s the better or worse half of Gabby Giffords, and together with her is the public face of Americans for Responsible Solutions, a PAC funded by a Texas lawyer to ban assault rifles.

On FOX, Kelly said, “In 1934, we banned automatic weapons. You know, I argue the semi-automatic assault weapon with a high capacity magazine is just too dangerous to be on the street where criminals and terrorists and the mentally ill can easily get them.”

Unfortunately Kelly was also caught buying one of weapons too dangerous to be in the hands of mere civilians.

Kelly reportedly bought the AR-15 and a 1911-style semi-automatic pistol at Diamondback Police Supply in Tucson, Arizona.

It’s not surprising that Kelly was turned in buying the dreaded weapon of doom. As gun ownership becomes like homosexuality in the 90s, coming out as an opponent also means that you may be outed if you combine that with a penchant for guns.

Naturally Kelly has tried to spin his purchase of the AR-15 as some sort of move to get them off the street, “As I was leaving, I noticed a used AR-15. Bought that too. Even to buy an assault weapon, the background check only takes a matter of minutes. I don’t have possession yet but I’ll be turning it over to the Tucson PD when I do.”

So apparently Kelly has a plan to buy up all the assault rifles in America and turn them over to the Tuscon PD. I think that’s a little like Ron Paul’s plan to end slavery.

It’s a little hard to believe that Kelly is running a one-man gun buyback program. It’s more likely that he got caught not practicing what he preached.

There’s nothing wrong with gun ownership, but Kelly now has a career being an anti-gun zealot. And to be an anti-gun zealot, you have to live your life gun-free.

There has been talk of Mark Kelly running for Giffords seat and that talk comes from liberal media outlets. To do that, he would have to squeeze out Ron Barber, the Democrat currently in there, but considering that Giffords’ district trended somewhat right, and that Barber, even with the cloak of being the aide of the saintly martyr Gabby Giffords who was also wounded in the shooting spree only won a narrow victory, it’s possible.

But Democrats may not be as enamored of him now after he got caught in flagrante delicto with an AR-15.

Private Sector vs. Public Sector

Let’s explore the difference between jobs created by capitalism and jobs created by government because they are as different as night and day.

Private Sector

An entrepreneur comes up with a bright idea and starts a business. The business does well and the entrepreneur hires 100 people and pays each of them $50,000/yr. He is responsible for their salaries for as long as they work for him. This creates a $5,000,000 annual financial liability which the entrepreneur must pay in order to run his business.

Each of these 100 people pays $7,992 in federal income taxes annually. This results in $799,200 in annual tax revenue to the federal government which is used for various government programs. This revenue to the government continues as long as the 100 people continue working for the entrepreneur’s business.

Public Sector

A politician comes up with a bright idea and starts a federal government program to “create jobs”. The federal government hires 100 people to work in the program and pays each of them $50,000/year. The American taxpayers are now responsible for their salaries as long as they work for the federal government. This creates a $5,000,000 annual financial liability which the American taxpayers must pay to keep the government program operating.

Each of these 100 people pays $7,992 in federal income taxes. These jobs result in $799,200 in annual tax revenue to the federal government which is used for various other government programs. This revenue continues as long as the 100 people continue working for the federal government.

However, these 100 federal government employees are also a $5,000,000 annual financial liability to the American taxpayers since their salaries are paid by the taxpayers (not by a private business). These 100 people, therefore, represent an annual net cost to American taxpayers of $4,200,800 ($5,000,000 liability minus $799,200 tax revenue) for as long as they work for the federal government.

The Difference

Employees hired by businesses (capitalism) result in annual recurring revenue to American taxpayers and therefore stimulate the economy.

Government employees result in annual recurring costs to American taxpayers and are a permanent drain on the economy.

This is why we must reduce the size of government.

We the taxpayers, not private businesses, are paying their salaries. If, for example, the government creates a $50,000 job, we’re stuck paying the $50,000 salary. But we are receiving, in the form of income taxes, only a $7,992 annual return on our $50,000 investment. That’s a loss of $42,008/year for each employee. Multiply that times hundreds of thousands of government employees and you see the extent of the problem.

In summary, if a business hires one employee it doesn’t cost the taxpayers anything. In fact, it generates revenue for the Treasury. If the government hires one employee it costs the taxpayers money for as long as they remain employed.

So, the next time you hear a politician say “We need to create more jobs,” tell him/her “Fine, as long as they’re private sector jobs!”

The Beginning of the End

Last month, the Senate Budget Committee reports that in fiscal year 2011, between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid and other benefits, the average U.S. household below the poverty line received $168.00 a day in government support.

What’s the problem with that much support? Well, the median household income in America is just over $50,000, which averages out to $137.13 a day. To put it another way, being on welfare now pays the equivalent of $30.00 an hour for a 40-hour week, while the average job pays $25.00 an hour.

On Becoming Ilegal

Actual letter from an Iowa resident sent to his senator...

The Honorable Tom Harkin
731 Hart Senate Office Building

Phone (202) 224 3254

Washington DC , 20510

Dear Senator Harkin,

As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.

My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for only three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.

Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2008 and 2009.

Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year.

Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as 'in-state' tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.

Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of renewing my driver's license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me, given that I still have college age children driving my car.

If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative.

Thank you for your assistance.

Your Loyal Constituent,

(hoping to reach 'illegal alien' status rather than just a bonafide citizen of the USA )
