A sure sign of liberal bias is eagerness to blame America for anything and everything. Below is a rant from Dawn Johnsen, Obama's nominee for Office of Legal Counsel, a very powerful post in the Justice Department. Her role will be to weigh legal precedents and give important unbiased legal advice to the president and executive branch officers. At least two Supreme Court justices have held this position prior to their nomination to the Supreme Court... “We must resist Bush administration efforts to hide evidence of its wrongdoing through demands for retroactive immunity, assertions of state privilege, and implausible claims that openness will empower terrorists,” Johnsen raved on Slate.com. “We must instead be honest with ourselves and the world as we condemn our nation’s past transgressions and reject Bush’s corruption of our American ideals.”
Ms. Johnsen is giving us a preview of the legal advice she will give regarding the Patriot Act. We can safely assume that she will recommend dismantling the Patriot Act, effectively disarming America against terrorist attacks.
These liberal ideologues are going to destroy this country one bureaucratic policy decision at a time...
