How "Hope and Change" became "Borrow and Spend"

"We are moving from an era of borrow and spend to save and invest." - Barack Obama

Yep, that's what he said. Now, here's the truth...

- When he took office, the deficit was $569 billion. His proposed budget will increase that figure by another $1.276 trillion this year alone.

- He will double our nation's total debt in only six years.

- He will triple our nation's total debt in only ten years to a grand total of $9.3 trillion.

Sadly, this is a figure so large that it can never be repaid.

This slick con artist has merely substituted the word save for the word borrow, and the word invest for the word spend. Then he and his Democrat congress took out the nation's checkbook and started writing bad checks. Yet, he is so filled with hubris that he actually thinks we don't see it for what it is: borrowing and spending on steroids.

Unless he is stopped, he will become the biggest borrower and spender in the history of the United States.

And why should that surprise anyone? America was warned, ad nauseum, during the campaign that Barack Obama was the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate. Apparently America wanted change.

Unfortunately, we got change, but to get it we had to give up all hope.
